Pastor Tim and his wife Lorelei started X Church with a handful of people in 2003, full of a vision to help as many people as possible to get on the path to God. Since then, over 6,000 people have come to faith in Jesus through the church. Pastor Tim is passionate about communicating the story of Jesus in an authentic way that connects with life today. He and his wife are driven to create a church for the Next Generation and build something that will last beyond themselves.
Tim and Lorelei have been married for more than 25 years, and their family includes their two daughters, Audrey, Lauryn, and her husband Hunter, and their son, Cohen. They currently reside in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Following Jesus was never supposed to be a one-time decision rather it's a lifetime of taking steps. We understand though how hard it can be to take that step or even know where to begin! It is our desire to build this church for the Next Generation. Everything we do should have them in mind. We create weekend experiences that engage our youth and preach to the level in which they can grasp it. We do not separate our High School Youth from adults during church on the weekends. We also create other environments where our youth can connect with God and each other in a way that inspires a personal relationship with Jesus and their youth leaders. Our youth can do everything that our adults can do – worship, serve, give and lead. We believe that this church is theirs and not just for their parents!
